HEARTLESS thugs broke into a pensioner's home, threatened him and stole cash.

Three men, described as wearing dark clothing, entered the home in Waukglen Crescent in Darnley, at 8.45pm on January 31.

It is believed they threatened him with a weapon before rummaging through the contents of the house and leaving with a sum of money.

Police say there is no value for the amount of cash taken at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
