A MAN and woman have been rushed to hospital in Glasgow following a crash.
Officers rushed to the scene at around 1.30pm yesterday on the M80 motorway.
The driver, a 52-year-old man, and his female passenger, 47, were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
While the woman is not seriously injured, the man is being treated for a serious head injury and his condition is described as "critical".
He was driving a white Mitsubishi L200 Pick-up.
Sergeant Scott Kirkpatrick of the Road Policing Unit said: "We would like to hear from any motorists who witnessed the crash or anyone who can assist with our investigation.
"If you have any information, in particular dash-cam footage, then please contact police via 101 quoting reference number 1769 of Saturday February 5 2022."
