A MAN has died after being struck by a car on the Clydeside Expressway.
The vehicle hit the 33-year-old, who was on the eastbound carriageway, before driving off.
Cops rushed to the scene at around 10.40pm last night, where the man was pronounced dead. His next of kin are aware.
The road was then closed until just before 5am this morning so that crews could carry out an investigation.
Now officers are keen to track down the vehicle, a black and grey SUV-style car.

Sergeant John Houston said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who sadly lost his life and those directly affected by this incident.
“Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and although we have spoken to a number of motorists, we are appealing to anyone else who may have seen what happened to come forward.
“In particular we are asking the drivers of a black and grey SUV-style vehicle to get in touch.
“We are also keen to speak to anyone that has dash-cam footage which might assist with our investigation.”
Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 3745 of Saturday, February 5, 2022.
