One of Glasgow’s biggest and best indoor street food markets has announced its first event of the year after almost three months away from the foodie scene.
On February 26 to 27 the Big Feed will return to its home in Govan and, going by a stellar lineup of food traders and live acts, the team are more than making up for lost time.
Here’s a rundown of what you can expect on their first weekend back.
Music
The Big Feed has become known for hosting the best of local talent since launching in 2016.
For their 2022 opening weekend, a selection of exciting artists assembled by Craig McMorrow Music (@mcmucisagency) includes Ali Robertson (Ali and the Parade), Mattew Gibb and Daniel Docherty.
Fun
In their usual family-friendly fashion, the Big Feed has made sure to include activities that are fun for all ages.
Expect face painting, balloon artists, retro video game arcades, and a temporary tattoo station.
It's worth noting that all events are dog friendly too.
Food
The clue is in the name with the Big Feed and really, for hungry street food fans, a weekend pilgrimage to Govan is all about the scran.
Here’s a little teaser of the ten confirmed traders for the first event of 2022.
