GLASGOW motorists have been warned of delays as a busy road in the Southside of the city is to close for over a month.
Nitshill Road will be closed to traffic to allow the installation of a new water main, Glasgow City Council announced.
The road will be closed in both directions, from Peat Road to Barrhead Road.
The works will begin at 9.30am on Monday, February 14 and will last for more than a month, until 5pm on Thursday, March 22.
Drivers are being advised to use alternative routes as delays are expected, especially at peak times.
Diversions for Nitshill Road will be in place via Barrhead Road and Peat Road, around Silverburn shopping centre.
