A DESSERT company has made moves to open a new store in Renfrew.
Big Licks has applied for planning permission to erect signs at the former Denny's restaurant near Braehead Shopping Centre.
The American eatery opened in December 2018 but came under fire following bad reviews on TripAdvisor.
It was the US franchise’s first Scottish restaurant, however, "To Let" signs were spotted outside the building in April last year.
Big Licks have put forward their plans for outdoor signs to Renfrewshire Council, with one advertising "burgers, shakes and desserts".
Planning bosses will grant or refuse the plans for the unit at Braille Crescent by April 9.
