AN ENTERTAINMENT centre was evacuated by police as a 'disturbance' broke out.
Officers arrived at Braehead in Renfrew yesterday evening after hearing reports of an incident in the Xsite centre.
Diners and cinema goers had to leave the premises, and the centre remained closed for the rest of the night.
Fire emergency crews also attended and assisted officers at the scene.
There were no injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.15 pm on Sunday, February 13, 2022, police received a report of a disturbance within Xsite Braehead, Kings Inch Road, Renfrew.
“Officers attended and the centre was closed to the public. The situation was resolved and advice was given. No-one was injured and no further action was taken.
“The centre stayed closed for the remainder of the night.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 9.12pm on Sunday, February 13, to reports of an incident at premises in King's Inch Road, Glasgow.
“Operations control immediately mobilised a fire engine to the location to support emergency partners but firefighters were not required and returned to base."
