A CCTV image has been released after an incident onboard a train travelling from Glasgow Central to East Kilbride.

Transport cops say they want to speak to the man in the image following the incident on the ScotRail service at 5.33pm on Thursday, December 16. No details on the nature of the incident were provided by the force. 

Officers believe that the male shown in the image may have information that could assist them and would urge the male shown or any members of the public who recognise him to contact the police.

The male is described as white, aged around late 40s to early 50s, tall, of slim build and with brown short hair, wearing a dark coloured jacket, dark blue jeans and carrying a dark coloured backpack.
