A new kitchen residency has been announced for a popular art hub and performance space in Finnieston.
Legendary Hyndland restaurant Zique’s will take over SWG3’s Acid Bar at the end of this month serving breakfast, lunch and an all-day deli.
Diners can expect a menu full of fresh produce that will bring back signature dishes from the renowned restaurant's 21 years in business such as the 'Big Piece’, Cullen skink and seasonal salads.

Mhairi Taylor, Owner of Cafezique, said: “We are thrilled to be the next residency at the Acid Bar.
"As Glaswegians, we have all been fans of SWG3 since the very beginning and are in awe of what the team have achieved and the amazing plans they have going forward.
"The Acid Bar is beautiful both inside and out and we can’t wait to get started.”
SWG3' Acid Bar is known for having hosted some of Glasgow’s finest culinary talents in recent years from Ka Pao to Five March, solidifying the relationship between good food and culture.

Upcoming event’s to be held during Zique’s residency at SWG3 include DJ acts, artists displays and performances by comedian Michael Redmond of Father Ted fame, who will host on Sundays with ‘a legendary roast chicken dinner serviced with a side of laconic wit’.
As well as this, the bright and welcoming Acid Bar is both child and dog friendly.

“We’ve hosted some incredible residencies throughout the years lasting anything from three months to a year including Go Sangatsu from Five March, Ka Pao, Ox & Finch, Madlab by Cail Bruich and Julie's Kopitiam.
“We can’t wait to welcome Mhairi Taylor and her Cafezique team for the next one and share their brilliant menu with you all.”
The Acid Bar will be open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am until 6 pm from February 24, 2022.
