ScotRail has announced that the disruption to services caused by Storm Dudley will continue into tomorrow morning.
All of the firm's services in Glasgow were suspended at 4 pm today, Wednesday 16 February as the city braced itself for adverse weather.
Since then, Scotrail has said that high winds this evening have led to widespread chaos across a number of train lines which will need urgent repair work.

In a tweet, they said: “Storm Dudley is now well underway. It still has several hours to run, but already we have reports of trees on the line, damage to overhead wires, and signalling faults.
“We won’t know the full extent of the damage until the early hours of the morning when Network Rail’s engineers will be able to check each route and begin any repair works.
“Teams will be working through the night to get services back up and running as quickly as possible, but disruption is expected to continue into the morning. We won’t be able to restore services until we know routes are safe.”
Commuters are advised to check their journey via the ScotRail website before attempting to travel tomorrow.
