RESIDENTS can have a say in the transformation of a North Glasgow building.
The former Mount Florida Bowling Club will be turned into a new community facility following a public consultation.
Held online, at www.mfcommunityhub.co.uk, from 3pm until 7pm on Thursday, February 24, the discussion will give locals the opportunity to have their say.
This comes after, at a Special General Meeting in December, members agreed to sell the site to NOAH, a Glasgow-based development company.
Now, a member of the project team will give a short summary of the company's proposals at 3pm, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm.
This will be followed by time for comments and questions, via a live chat.
There will also be a chance to discuss how a new community hub would be best created and run to establish interest from groups interested in taking control of these facilities.
The site has been closed since 2019.

As part of the sale, it was agreed that £250,000 from the sale proceeds of the site will be made available to a community group towards funding the cost of refurbishing the clubhouse and the creation of community open space.
The control and management of the community facilities will also be offered to a community group on a long-term lease at a low rent.
Details of the overall proposals will go live on the website from 10am on the day of the event.
Paul Winocour from NOAH said: “NOAH and its advisory team are looking forward to providing the local community with the opportunity to view and comment on the emerging proposals for the site of the former Mount Florida Bowling Club.
“We look forward to engaging with the local community and community groups on how they would like to see these new community facilities look and operate.
“We encourage all interested parties to speak to the team on 24 February and to put any questions you have to them.”
