THREE teenage boys have been apprehended by police search crews after being found hiding from authorities in woods.
The suspects, aged 14, 15 and 16, were charged with road traffic offences after a vehicle was traced.
Renfrewshire police were hunting the boys with assistance from helicopter crews and police dogs.
Aerial footage showed an 'indistinct' image which turned out to be the three hiding in a wooded area in Houston.
Local officers were then dispatched to make arrests, and the three were charged with road traffic offences.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Three male youths, aged 16, 15 and 14, have been charged with road traffic offences after a vehicle was traced in the Houston area of Renfrewshire during the evening of Saturday, February 19.
“Reports will be submitted to the relevant authority.”
