POLICE raided a former furniture warehouse on Glasgow's Southside after beat cops uncovered a cannabis farm.
Officers are still on the scene at the former Phoenix Furniture Glasgow premises in Strathbungo.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland confirmed the raid on Friday night, shortly after 11.30pm.
She said officers had been on patrol in the local area when they discovered a "cannabis cultivation".
Locals reported seeing sniffer dogs at the building on Niddrie Road and said the door of the property was cut open to allow officers access.
Marked police cars are currently guarding the scene.
In February 2020 Phoenix Furniture Glasgow announced a closing down sale and shut up shop shortly afterwards.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 11.35pm on Friday, February 18, 2022, officers on patrol discovered a cannabis cultivation in a property in Niddrie Road, Glasgow.
"Officers are currently in attendance and enquiries are ongoing."
