Tributes have been paid to an "incredible" Glasgow barber who has sadly passed away.
Mohair Glasgow told followers on social media that they had lost one of their barbers, Steve Mcdonald, on Sunday morning.
The statement from the Saltmarket barbers read: "It is with great sadness we regret to inform you that we lost our boy Steve Mcdonald this morning.
"He was a fabulous whirlwind of a man, he was an incredible barber and a great friend. He will be forever in our hearts, never forgotten.
"We are all heartbroken here at Mohair. Our condolences go out to his family, his nearest and dearest and all who knew Steve.
"Rest in peace big man love you mate."
The post was filled with thoughtful messages from customers and people who knew Steve.
One comment read: "So sorry to hear this news, Steve was a great guy and a wonderful barber, always got my beard looking good on my visit to Mohair, excellent banter and amazing stories, he will be greatly missed.
"My thoughts go to everyone at Mohair and Steve's family and friends. RIP Steve."
Another customer said: "He was the nicest guy with the best banter. Did my first Mohair cut years ago, knew I found the best barbers thanks to him.
"Absolutely heartbreaking news, so so sorry to hear it. Thoughts are with you all and with Steve's family."
Another said: "So sorry to hear I’m shocked. Such a great guy and the best barber I’ve ever had. I’m gonna really miss him."
A fundraiser has been set up for Steve's funeral to give him an "epic send off", and £2484 has already been raised, surpassing the £1000 target.
