SEVERE weather has caused a number of Glasgow trains to be delayed, Scotrail has announced.
The train bosses have issued an update that due to weather conditions, a number of routes will be affected until 8.30 am on Wednesday.
Glasgow Queen Street services to Mallaig, Fort William, and Oban could be facing 10 minutes of delays.

This comes after the Met Office issued a yellow warning for snow and wind tomorrow, with expected gusts of 40-50mph in most areas, and up to 50-60mph in exposed Western areas.
Scotrail previously advised that adverse weather could result in changes to services if speeds need to be limited to cope with the conditions.
Travellers are advised to check their journeys beforehand.
🌧🍃 With heavy rain and strong winds forecast across Scotland for much of this week, there may be changes to services if @NetworkRailSCOT need to limit train speeds for safety reasons.
