GLASGOW transformed into a winter wonderland this morning as snow covered parts of the city.
Our photographer Colin Mearns ventured to areas of the Southside to capture the scenes in Strathbungo and Shawlands.
Gritters were in action as locals braved the weather to walk, drive and cycle in the snow.
Regent Park Square in Strathbungo looked like a scene from a Christmas card with a dusting of snow covering the trees.
The wintry scenes come after the Met Office issued a yellow warning for snow and lightning, or 'thundersnow', in place from 5pm on Wednesday until 8pm on Thursday.
Glasgow Times readers from all over the city shared weather updates from where they live.
Residents from Castlemilk, Drumchapel, Clarkston, Hillington and Easterhouse reported experiencing heavy snow, icy roads and winter sun in their area.
