Essential work on a busy section of Glasgow motorway will result in a temporary road closure next week.
In order to complete overhead sing gantry maintenance, part of the M77 Northbound between junctions two and three will be closed overnight on Friday, March 4 2022.
Works will be carried out between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am.
Amey on behalf of Transport Scotland said: “The work will be carried out using a total closure of the M77 northbound carriageway between Junctions two and three with a diversion route in place.
“Traffic travelling on the M77 northbound will exit the M77 at Junction three and will follow the diversion along the A726 (Nitshill Road) A736 (Barrhead Road) before re-joining the M77 at junction two.”
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
