A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The driver of this vehicle collided with parked vehicles and failed to stop.

"This is probably because he was over the drink drive limit and did not hold a driving license.

"Road Policing Officers from Glasgow were dispatched and after a short pursuit, the vehicle was stopped with another male driving.

"Unbelievably, the second driver was also over the drink drive limit! Both males will be reported to the courts for drink driving and other Road Traffic Offences.

"There is no excuse for driving under the influence of alcohol!"
