TRAIN services between Glasgow and East Kilbride have been suspended after a vehicle hit a railway bridge this afternoon.
Scotrail is warning passengers that its services are being cancelled due to a "road vehicle" crashing into a bridge between Clarkston and Busby.
The company tweeted: "We've had reports of a vehicle striking a bridge between Clarkston and Busby.
"The bridge is a red structure so will need to be examined by our staff before services can pass over the bridge again."
A response team is en-route to assess damage to the bridge.
Disruption is expected to last until 2pm.
