Four locations across Glasgow have been selected for new hotels as part of a UK chain’s expansion.
Travelodge is looking to secure deals to build four new accommodation facilities in the city, bosses said.
The company has released "target" locations, which include four areas in Glasgow, as well as one in East Kilbride, Hamilton and Greenock.
While talks are yet to begin, the company has expressed interest in sites in the St Enoch, Finnieston, Byres Road and Silverburn areas of the city.

The firm is considering standalone hotels and mixed-use sites, as well as new developments and conversions of existing buildings.
However, it is not yet known how the new Travelodges will take shape in Glasgow.
The chain, which operates in the UK, Ireland and Spain, opened 17 new hotels across England in 2021 and is planning to open just as many in the coming years.
Tony O’Brien, Travelodge UK development director, said: “We are currently seeking development opportunities that could incorporate a new Travelodge hotel, either on its own or as part of a mixed-use scheme, and will consider new developments and conversions of existing buildings and hotels operated by other brands.
“In 2021, we opened 17 new hotels, in locations including Bristol, Kendal, Leicester, London, Mansfield, Poole, Rochdale, Sandwich, St Albans and Witney and are looking to open a similar number each year.”
