A PROPERTY in Robroyston has been deliberately targeted in a fire.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene at Leglen Wood Crescent on Monday, February 28, at around 9.30am.
Fire crews extinguished the fire and no one was injured, but an investigation has been launched as the fire is being treated as deliberate.
Detective Inspector Cheryl Kelly, of Shettleston CID, said: “Thankfully nobody has been injured as a result of this reckless act.
“We are treating the fire as deliberate and are asking anyone with any information to come forward and speak to officers.
“I would ask if you noticed anyone acting suspicious or any suspicious vehicles in the area to get in contact with police.
“I would also appeal to anyone who has possible dashcam or CCTV footage that may be able to assist us with our enquiries.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 0698 of February 28.
