CUSTOMERS may experience problems with smartcard purchases, ScotRail has announced.
The company warned travellers on social media that due to problems with their system, their tickets might not download.
They confirmed that they have contacted the supplier and are working to resilve the issue.

The post said: "We're experiencing some problems with Smartcard ticket purchases, and this may temporarily prevent tickets from being downloaded for use.
"We've contacted our supplier and hope to have this is rectified as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience."
