A BODY was pulled from the water in Lanarkshire as police officers launch an investigation.
Police Scotland has confirmed that a body was found in the water at Westerpark Avenue, Blantyre.
Officers made the discovery just before 5.30pm last night.
The death is not believed to be suspicious and an investigation was launched to establish the circumstances.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.25pm on Monday, February 28, officers discovered a body in the water at Westerpark Avenue, Blantyre.
"The death is not believed to be suspicious and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. As with all sudden deaths, a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
