A TEEN boy has been hit by a car in front of a high school in a town near Glasgow.
Police were called to Carluke around 5.20pm on Tuesday, March 1 after reports that a 13-year-old boy was knocked down by a car.
The incident happened next to Carluke High School.
The teen was taken to Wishaw General Hospital and has since been discharged.
Police Scotland have confirmed that the driver has come forward and enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.20pm on Tuesday, 1 March, police received a report of a road crash involving a collision between a 13-year-old boy and a car in the car park of a leisure centre in Carnwath Road, Carluke.
"The boy was taken to Wishaw General Hospital as a precaution and has since been discharged.
"The driver came forward and enquiries into the incident, which happened at 3.35 pm that afternoon, are continuing."
