A DELIVERY driver has been robbed near Glasgow as police launch an appeal for witnesses.
The driver was approached by two men around 4.10pm on Wednesday, March 2, near the junction of Leven Street and Alexander Street in Renton.
They threatened the driver, before making off with packages from the side of his delivery van and running in the direction of John Street.
The 35-year-old driver was left shaken but uninjured by the incident.
Both men are described as being around 25-years-old, white, and around 5ft 9.
The first was wearing a black face mask, a black hooded jumper and dark trousers. The second was wearing a short, shiny black puffer jacket.
Police Scotland have launched an investigation and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

Detective Constable Ben Brewer, from Clydebank CID, said: “Officers are carrying out extensive enquiries into this robbery and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
“If you witnessed the incident, or have potential private CCTV or dashcam footage, please call police on 101, quoting incident 2264 of 2 March. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
