Martin joined forces with Albert Bartlett to launch Spudulike in October last year after speaking fondly of the love he had for them as a child.
Since then the shop has been delighting customers with inventive fillings for their humble baked spuds like butter chicken, chickpea daal or Scottish smoked salmon.
Friday's event will be one of many stops on the chef's UK wide tour to visit a selection of the brand's locations.
He said: “I’m really excited to visit the SpudULike team at Braehead Shopping Centre this week to see them in action.
"It’s a great opportunity to mingle with staff and customers and to really get a feel for the place - a venture I’m so proud to be a part of."

Michael Jarvis, Head of Marketing at Albert Bartlett, added: “Having James Martin on board for SpudULike has been an honour and his creativity has taken the menu in an exciting new direction.
"James’ trip to SpudULike at Braehead Shopping Centre will be a great event and we’d encourage anyone who is shopping between 12 pm and 1 pm this Friday to pop in and say hello.
"And of course, grab a delicious baked potato while you’re in – when it comes to our spuds we don’t mess around.”
