An investigation has been launched into a 'possible assault of a teenage girl' in Glasgow.
Last night, the Glasgow Times reported that an area near Clyde Place in Tradeston had been blocked off by police.
It has now been confirmed that officers are searching for answers regarding an incident involving a young girl that might have taken place at the scene just after midnight on Sunday, March 6.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are investigating reports of a possible assault on a teenage girl on Clyde Place, Glasgow, on Saturday, 5 March, 2022.
"It was reported to police around 12.10am on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
