A man is due to appear in court today in connection with a Southside bank robbery.
The man was said to have threatened staff and demanded money at the Royal Bank of Scotland on Kilmarnock road before fleeing the scene on Monday, February 28.
It has previously been reported that he made off with a three-figure sum.

Police described the incident as a "very frightening experience for the staff in the bank" before launching an appeal to identify the thief.
It has now been confirmed that a 56-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the robbery.
He is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
