BAKERIES across Dennistoun are coming together to raise vital funds for those affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Local football club Glasgow Saints FC is hosting the event at the Reidvale Community Centre on Saturday, March 19.
The club say they have been overwhelmed with support from local businesses who have kindly donated baked goods.
Some of the bakeries who have donated include Rawnchy, East Coffee Company, Sweet Jane, Chulo's and Fudgetastic.

The Zero Waste Market in the area has also donated goods for the efforts.
Glasgow Saints said: "We’ve had a lot of local businesses reach out to donate cakes and we’re hoping to be able to make it as big a success as possible so we can raise as much as we can towards the humanitarian efforts of the Disasters Emergency Committee.
"We usually choose to raise funds towards local causes or organisations that directly impact people in need within Glasgow, but the feeling of complete helplessness in the face of what’s going on around the world at present has had an effect on everyone and we know the community is behind us in this."
