POLICE Scotland has announced that they will be increasing their patrols in a popular Glasgow park.
Kelvingrove Park in the city's West End will see increased community police presence this weekend.
They have shared the news on their Twitter page, along with a reminder that consuming alcohol is prohibited within the greenspace.
Your Community police along with @GlasgowCC are carrying out additional patrols in Kelvingrove Park this weekend to ensure the park can be a safe and secure place for all those who use it. A spokesperson said: "Your Community police along with Glasgow City Centre officers are carrying out additional patrols in Kelvingrove Park this weekend to ensure the park can be a safe and secure place for all those who use it.
"Please remember alcohol consumption is not permitted within the park."
