A BUSY road in Glasgow's city centre will close for five days for resurfacing works.
A stretch of Renfield Street, between West George Street and Gordon Street, will be shut from 8am on Monday, March 21, until 6pm on Friday, March 25.
Adjacent roads West George Street, St Vincent Street and Gordon Street will all remain open during the works.
The Bus Gate on Hope Street at Waterloo Street will be suspended to permit general traffic access to Gordon Street, West Nile Street and Mitchell Street.

In order to allow the works, Glasgow City Council has issued a series of restrictions that will apply in conjunction with the Renfield Street closure.
• West George Lane will be closed at its junctions with Renfield Street. Access will remain via Hope Street and West Nile Street.
• St Mary’s Lane will be closed at its junction with Renfield Street. Access will be permitted via West Nile Street.
• St Vincent Lane will be closed at its junction with Renfield Street. Access will remain via Hope Street.
• Drury Street will be closed at its junction with Renfield Street. The existing one-way operation will be revoked to allow vehicles to access from West Nile Street.
• Renfield Lane will be closed at its junction with Renfield Street. The existing one-way operation will be revoked to permit vehicles to access from Hope Street.
