SINGER James Arthur thanked the "sexy" Glasgow crowd and his "Scottish family" on social media after his show in the city last night.

The 33-year-old performed at the Armadillo on Thursday, as part of his 2022 tour.

After the gig, he shared a snap from the Finnieston venue on Instagram.

He wrote: "Glasgow you were so sexy tonight.

"Electric atmosphere. So good to see my Scottish family tonight as always!"

In an interview with the Glasgow Times ahead of the how, the singer had said: "I can't wait to come and play.

"The last time I was there I was a little bit sick, my voice was going a bit.

"I remember apologising to the Glaswegian crowd being like sorry.

"I said to them I can't wait to come back and play for you again."

The tour date comes off the back of the Middlesbrough-born singer-songwriter's fourth album It'll All Make Sense In The End.

Released at the end of last year, the project features singles Medicine, Emily and SOS.

The former X-Factor winner had described it as "something different, not the usual stuff that people would expect from me".
