COMMUTERS in Glasgow are facing some travel disruption on Monday morning, as a number of trains are delayed following a fault on a railway line in the city.
Scotrail is warning passengers on Twitter of changes to services after a signalling issue emerged between Partick and Hyndland.
As a result trains on the following routes are subject to delays and alteration:
- Dalmuir to Springburn
- Helensburgh to Edinburgh via Bathgate
- Milngavie to Edinburgh via Bathgate
- Airdrie to Balloch
The company also informed customers that a Network Rail team is on site and trying to locate the fault.
The tweet reads: "We’ve been advised by @NetworkRailSCOT of a signalling issue between Partick and Hyndland. Staff are on site."
In an update, it wrote: "Staff are still fault finding and our Airdrie / Balloch services are also subject to delay or alteration.
"We’re sorry if your journey time has been extended as a consequence of this signalling fault."
