SPRING is in the air - and this spell of sunshine and blue skies will do us all the world of good....
We took a stroll through the archives to bring you some classic images from glorious Glasgow springtimes past - like this joyful shot of a toddler enjoying the cool waters at the Kibble Palace in the Botanic Gardens in 1983.
The city’s parks come to life when the good weather brings people outdoors.
These schoolchildren loved the chance to let off steam at Sighthill Park in 1995 and in 1997, little Holly Doherty, aged seven, was delighted to pose for a picture among the flowers she helped plant at Cranhill Park.
This young girl and her puppy were having fun at the Gorbals Adventure Playground in 1966.
Further back in time, in 1938, Garscube Estate was the venue for the Silver Arrow archery competition, fiercely contested by Glasgow and Edinburgh Ladies clubs.
