The Waterboys will complete the line-up for this year's Summer Nights at the Bandstand festival in Glasgow.
The folk-rock legends, whose biggest hit was,'The Whole of the Moon', will perform at Kelvingrove Bandstand on Friday, August 5.
After a break of two years, the annual series of concerts will return to Glasgow's west end on July 27 with fourteen nights of music.
This year's line-up includes; Suzanne Vega, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Billy Bragg, Rufus Wainwright, Belinda Carlisle, Happy Mondays, Pixies and Richard Hawley.
Regular Music’s annual Summer Nights festival has become a firm favourite with bands and music fans alike and scooped the Unesco City of Music Best Live Event at the Scottish Music Awards, 2017.
Mark Mackie, director of Regular Music said: “As we get ready to welcome British Summer Time this weekend, I am delighted to announce The Waterboys as the final act to be added to this year Summer Nights at Kelvingrove Bandstand.
"Fronted by the iconic Mike Scott, The Waterboys will for sure give us an sensational evening of song, under the stars, in this truly unique venue.”
Tickets for The Waterboys go on sale on Friday at 9am from Ticketmaster.
