A GLASGOW chippy will be selling all meals for just £1.99 tomorrow to raise funds for a local mental health campaign.
All of the money made by The Golden Chip, in Croftfoot, on Wednesday, April 20, will be donated to LD Let's Talk.
Based in Castlemilk, the mental health campaign holds weekly meetups at the Birgidale Complex.
The meetings are open to anyone that would like to attend.
Founder Derek Reid also runs 'A Chatty Bench' scheme, which sees benches placed in communities and schools.
They are there for anyone who needs them, encouraging people to sit and talk.
Several benches have already been erected at sites throughout the Southside area, such as Castleton Primary, St Brides and Castlemilk High.
The campaign is looking to raise funds to place more.
Tomorrow's event at the chippy will run from 3pm until late, and everything on the menu is included in the deal.
Ali, of the chip shop, said: "We wanted to give back to the community who supported us through the pandemic and continued to order from us throughout the various stages of lockdown.
"Our business could not have survived without you.
"LD Let's Talk has been helping many individuals throughout the local area, and we couldn't think of a better charity to donate the event's proceeds to."
