AN URGENT search has been launched to help find a missing Glasgow woman - here's what we know so far.
Greater Glasgow Police Division revealed that Jayne Cuthbert had disappeared after two appeals were put out on their social media pages yesterday.
Where was Jayne last seen?
The 36-year-old was last seen at Govan bus station at around 6.40am on Wednesday morning.
She was captured on CCTV wearing glasses, a dark blue padded coat, black trousers and white trainers. She was also carrying a black bag with two straps.
What do police know from before then?
Jayne was last seen by a family member when she left her home in Newlands Road, in Glasgow's Southside, at around 6pm on Tuesday night, to walk her black and tan coloured English Bulldog.
She was then seen on CCTV with her dog at around 7pm on Clarkston Road.
Police say she took her dog home but did not speak with anyone and has been out of touch since.
It is not known where she spent Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
What does Jayne look like?
She is described as around 5ft 6ins, of average build with shoulder-length blonde hair. When she was at the bus station, her hair was up.
Officers say she often wears purple framed glasses.
Police issue further appeal
Last night, police released a re-appeal for information at around 8pm.
Inspector Alyson Bolton, of Govan police station, said: “Concerns are growing for Jayne’s welfare as it is out of character for her not to be in contact with her family so I am asking anyone who has seen her or knows where she might be to get in touch.
“At the moment it is not known where she spent Tuesday night and we are trying to find out her movements and anyone who can assist is asked to call us.
“If she sees this appeal I would ask Jayne to get in touch with us or her family so we know she is safe and well.”
How can you help?
Anyone with information or who sees Jayne should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 0380 of Wednesday, April 20.
