MORE than 40 homes will be built on empty land in Glasgow.
A planning application submitted to Glasgow City Council has been approved for the development, which will be built at Dalsholm Road, near Kelvindale train station.
Proposals for the 43 homes include 32 apartments and 17 terraced homes for private sale.
There will be secured bicycle storage, a play area, and a public garden area.
The site, which is currently brownfield, was last used as a siding to enable works to the nearby railway.
Applicant Kelvindale Holdings Ltd plans to build 62 car parking spaces throughout the development.
Planning bosses approved the plans with conditions.
