THE first ever Southside Wellbeing Festival is taking place in Glasgow this month.
Kicking off on May 20, the event, which is being held in partnership with Finn’s Place, the Wee Retreat and the Southside Fringe, will feature free events aimed at boosting mental health and wellbeing.
Meditation classes, taster sessions in creative writing, massage, exercise and more, plus yoga workshops and the Wee Open Day for families and children, are all part of the programme, which has been funded through Glasgow Community Mental Health.
MILK Café and Scottish Ballet are also backing the festival, with a range of activities from learning how to ferment your own vegetables to having a go at dancing to improve your mental, physical and social wellbeing.
