A CHILD has been hit by a van in Glasgow's Southside.
The accident took place on Crookston Road at 3.10pm today.
Police closed the road near Cairnhill Circus, but it has since reopened.
Officers say the child has been taken to The Royal Hospital for Children.
A force spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a collision involving a van and a child pedestrian on Crookston Road in Glasgow around 3.10pm on Wednesday, May 4.
“The child has been taken to Royal Hospital for Children.”
