A SCHOOLGIRL is safe and well after being hit by a van outside a school in Glasgow.
The pupil was struck by the vehicle at 3.10pm on Crookston Road yesterday, near Rosshall Academy, as previously reported by the Glasgow Times.
Police have confirmed the driver of the van was not arrested or charged with any criminal offence.

Meanwhile, Glasgow City Council bosses are urging pupils to be aware when crossing roads.
A local authority spokesperson said: “We are aware that a pupil was taken to hospital as a precaution following an incident nearby at the end of the school day and the headteacher has been in contact with the family to see how they are doing.
“Pupils are routinely reminded to care when travelling to and from school and be aware of their safety when crossing roads and in the local community.”
The Southside road was closed for a short time whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
