Man attacked near train station as cops hunt for suspect who was with child
A MAN was attacked near a train station in Cambuslang.
The 52-year-old was assaulted at 8.25am on Thursday, March 31, on Newton Brae, near Newton (Lanark) train station.
Police have since launched an appeal for information.
They say the suspect, who was with a child at the time, is described as a white man, aged 40-50, with short dark hair, wearing a white top, blue bottoms, black trainers and carrying a blue jacket.
Anyone with any information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 0603 of March 31, 2022, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
