A MAN has died after being found injured at a home in Bellshill.
Police have taped off part of Thorndean Avenue, where the 56-year-old was found inside a property.
Officers were called last night at around 11.30pm.
Emergency services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is currently being treated as "unexplained".
An investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a 56-year-old man who was found injured at a property in Thorndean Avenue, Bellshill, around 11.30pm on Wednesday, 18 May, 2022.
"Emergency services attended and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are at an early stage."
