With the return of some warm weather, the nation is preparing to enjoy the Jubilee bank holiday by getting out into the garden.
Whether you have a family barbeque or full-scale garden party planned, there are a number of ways you can upgrade your outdoor space.
For example, online marketplace ManoMano has seen visits to its swimming pools page increase by more than 56 percent at the start of May compared to the same timeframe prior.
Swimming pools
Swimming pools are a great way to cool-down on a hot day and are perfect for the whole family to enjoy together.
The huge Intex Metal Frame swimming pool measures 366cm in diameter and 76cm high with a capacity of 6503 litres.
The pool can be set up quickly and is easy to maintain and store away when not in use.
It's available now for £159.99 from ManoMano.
For something a little smaller, the Bestway 8ft Round Paddling Pool is still a considerable size with a 2,300 litre water capacity.
You simply inflate the ring at the top of the pool and then fill with water.
Get yours for £36.95 via ManoMano.
Keeping cool
Parasols and shade sails are a must when spending a lot of time outdoors during the warmer months.
ManoMano has a range of options from the stylish Outsunny 3-meter Cantilever Parasol Banana Umbrella for the reduced price of £67.99 to the striking Greenbay Sun Shade Sail, a snip at £33.29.
Garden furniture
It goes without saying, if you want to relax in your garden, you’re going to need some comfy seating.
ManoMano has a huge range to choose from – we love the Hampton Rattan Garden Furniture which comes with a four-seater corner sofa and table.
It’s now less than half price at just £329.99.
Outdoor Cooking
No outdoor party would be complete without the al fresco experience. ManoMano’s barbeque and outdoor cooking page has seen visits increase by 33 percent recently as people get set for an evening or burgers, buns, and beverages.
If you are serious about getting your grill on, this American-style charcoal barbecue in Serge black has three grills in total, side shelves, five air vents and a Bakelite hood.
Garden bar
And if you really want to get the party started, how about your very own garden bar. You can try constructing your own, or for those less handy with the toolbox, you can buy something that’s requires a little less assembly.
This Forest Wooden Garden Bar is ideal for serving drinks during gatherings.
It comes unpainted so you can add your own personality to the place.
It's currently reduced to £549.99 from the ManoMano website.
Annabelle Luce, UK Communications Manager at ManoMano, said: “The mini-May heatwave is a welcome arrival, and with preparations well underway ahead of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, it is no surprise we have seen an uptake in demand for outdoor accessories as people look to get ready for the bank holiday celebrations.”
