Woman and child taken to hospital after being hit by car
A WOMAN and child were hit by a car in Rutherglen.
The road accident took place yesterday afternoon at around 2.50pm.
Police were called to Croftfoot Road, near Kyle Square.

Officers say the collision involved one car and two pedestrians - a woman and a child.
They were taken to hospital but the extent of their injuries is not known.
A man will be subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.
