THOUSANDS of Ed Sheeran fans have descended upon Hampden for the first of two gigs.
The famous singer-songwriter is performing in the national stadium in Glasgow's Southside tonight as part of his + - = ÷ x Tour.
Excited fans have been pictured at the venue.
Dozens of fans have been waiting as early as 12pm today to get access inside the football ground.
Doors officially opened at 4pm.
Some fans showed off their merchandise including scarves, t-shirts and flags.
Ed Sheeran is the first of many big stars who will bring their shows to the stadium this summer.
Liam Gallagher, Calvin Harris, Gerry Cinnamon, and Coldplay will also perform over the coming weeks.
We previously reported that the venue shared a sneak peek of the stage being built ahead of tonight.

Two roads near Hampden Park will be closed to traffic.
Glasgow City Council has revealed Sommerville Drive and Letherby Drive will be closed to vehicles for their full length from 6pm tonight to 11.59pm tomorrow.
