Hampden Park regularly sees crowds of thousands pouring into its turnstiles, from football fans to concert-goers.
The Scottish Football Museum houses over 40,000 football-related objects such as trophies, medals, shirts, programmes, toys and more.
From the original Scottish Cup of 1873 to David Marshall’s gloves from that penalty shoot-out against Serbia in the Euro 2020 qualifiers, football fans can get lost in a sea of memorabilia.
Highlights include legend Kenny Dalglish’s silver cap which he was awarded for his 100th appearance for the national team in 1986 and Ally McCoist’s golden boot from his 1992-3 season at Rangers.
The museum celebrates not only our country’s footballing heroes but the fans who love the beautiful game, with a model depicting fans watching through a fence when they couldn’t afford the one shilling ticket fee.
Tours operate four times daily at Hampden which includes a visit to the museum, the changing rooms, the tunnel and more.
