MUSIC mogul Geoff Ellis has called for Glasgow to have "fully functioning" transport to support a 24-hour economy.
The DF Concerts boss was speaking on site at TRNSMT ahead of the much-anticipated festival opening tomorrow on Glasgow Green.
With headliners Paolo Nutini, The Strokes and Lewis Capaldi, the three-day event is attracting music lovers from across the UK.
But concerns have been raised about public transport running late enough and often enough to get fans home safely.

One issue is ongoing rail industrial action - but bus routes have also been criticised for finishing early.
Geoff said: "Fans will cope with it as they have been doing, people will continue making alternative arrangements as they have been doing, keeping track of the timetables and planning ahead.
"There's private coach operators doing routes to the event.
"But we would urge people to plan ahead with your travel, particularly end of night travel."

Despite saying fans will cope with the travel restrictions, he added: "I'd always like to see trains run later and transport run later to be closer to 24-hour nighttime economy so I'm a fan of things not finishing early so people can get to and from.
"But that's outside of any rail strikes - I would say the trains don't run late enough anyway, the tube doesn't run late enough - my vision would be a fully functioning, 24-hour, night time economy.
"It's an ongoing dispute but hopefully it will come to some kind of resolution soon."
