A MAN has been rushed to hospital after he was assaulted on Dumbarton's High Street yesterday.
A 32-year-old man was taken to hospital and his condition is currently unknown.
From 5.15pm Dumbarton High Street remained closed whilst emergency services dealt with the ongoing incident.
One source said that an ambulance was in attendance and it is believed that it was a fight coming from a nearby pub.
The road between St Mary's Way and Riverside Lane was closed.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a 32-year-old man having been assaulted on High Street in Dumbarton around 5.10pm on Monday, July 18, 2022.
“The victim was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. The road is closed between St Mary’s Way and Riverside Lane.”
