A MAN was caught on CCTV booting a Mercedes car - but claimed in court he thought it was his own vehicle.
Jamie Logue was spotted by camera operators on July 9 last year approaching a black vehicle in Dennistoun and starting to kick at it.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard how the incident happened around 2.35pm on Armadale Street in the East End.

Depute fiscal Brogan Moffat told how police who attended the scene noticed damage to the car by way of scuff marks.
Logue, from Riddrie, was not cautioned and charged "due to his intoxicated state".
There was minor damage to the car and the repairs for this were covered by the owner.
The 46-year-old's defence brief said he had suffered a seizure and had attended hospital shortly before for a head injury.

The lawyer claimed that Logue, in his altered state, had approached an address he used to live at and that the car was similar to one he had owned.
"He was confused," the solicitor added.
Sheriff Allan Mackay placed him on a structured deferred sentence when he appeared at court last week and told him to come back in six months' time.
